Paul P. Harris, a young attorney in Chicago, Illinois, organized the first Rotary club on February 23, 1905. The name “Rotary” was chosen because the club met in rotation at each member’s place of business. Rotary’s concepts of friendship, fellowship and service to others have now spread to 155 countries, with membership in excess of 1.2 million. The Rotary Club of Magnolia Center was chartered on May 16, 1955 by the Rotary Club of Riverside. We meet each Thursday at 12:10pm at Tava Lanes Bowling Center located at 3439 Arlington Ave. In Riverside, CA USA (Arlington Ave. & 91 off ramp) |
